Thanks for joining us at Bones MMA!
Please read through our Gym Etiquette and Parent Code before getting started!
Students
All metal objects, jewellery or accessories must be removed before class begins.
Shoes must be placed on the shoe rack neatly and then walk directly onto the mat.
You must always wear your shoes or sandals while walking around the Gym. The only place you go barefoot is the mats.
If you are under 10 minutes late for class you must wait at the end of the mat for instructors permission to proceed into class. If you are over 10 minutes late you cannot take class.
Absolutely no eating inside the Gym.
No usage of cell phone inside the Gym.
Hygiene is crucial. Nails must be cut, cover any open wounds, uniforms always washed post class, etc.
Parents
Parent’s are permitted for the first 2 minutes of class and the the last 2 minutes of class. We kindly ask you to wait outside while the class is on (trial classes excepted).
This improves the child’s concentration, develops resilience, and ensures authority remains with the instructor during the class and does not defer back to the Parent.
Open days at the start, and end of the school term will provide an opportunity for you to observe your child in class, and witness their progress first hand!
Please bring your children no earlier than 5 minutes prior to class time. If possible, please already have your child dressed for class to eliminate disturbing the class in session and additional noise.
To respect the privacy of parents and their children, absolutely no pictures/videos can be taken of the classes.
No usage of cell phone inside the gym. Talking should be minimal inside the dojo when there are classes in session.
No sideline coaching - please refrain from interrupting our instructors while doing their job.
Please remind and help your children about hygiene. Nails should be cut. Uniforms should always be clean and neat.
