Muay Thai

Muay Thai, or literally 'Thai boxing', is a combat sport of Thailand that uses stand-up striking along with various clinching techniques. This discipline is known as the "art of eight limbs" as it is characterised by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins.

Muay Thai - advanced

Run over 90 minutes, our advanced class suits experienced people comfortable with the intensity of a traditional Muay Thai session.

All advanced classes consist of 10 - 30 minutes clinching (60 minutes on Thursdays), with Fighters expected to run before class, and complete conditioning afterwards.

Muay Thai - Sparring

Our sparring classes are suitable from intermediate through to advanced athletes (exception to our Wednesday night class for beginners). Sparring is thai style - fun, light and playful, providing the perfect environment to come and try and few things you learnt during the week.

Muay Thai Fighters & Open Mat

A spot on the timetable where fighters and members can come in and do their own training, as well as a good time get your run in and warm up before Muay Thai advanced class.

MMA Striking

There a three commonly regarded pillars of MMA striking, being Boxing, Muay Thai and Kickboxing.

We push the bounds of tradition in these classes and are constantly adapting our MMA striking framework to lead from the front.

MMA Fighters & Open Mat

This session is specifically for those in active competition or seeking to take the next level in their martial arts journey to complete their training. These times are also open to our members who want to come in and get some of their own training in.

No-Gi (BJJ)

Bones offers classes for beginners, intermediate and competition level athletes. The system is designed for MMA competition, where you can learn wall wrestling, takedowns, control and pins, throws, submissions, and sweeps. It is excellent for self defence, fitness, and beating up your brother.

MMA Sparring

These classes are specific to our fight team and those looking to take the next step towards competition. Due to the sensitive nature of competition preparation these sessions are limited to members only, or by invite from a head coach.

Strength & Conditioning

This session is suitable for any level of fitness. Go at your own pace, with a few cheeky breaks when the instructor isn’t looking, or push until you pass out! Classes cover a range of area’s aiming to improve cardio capacity, strength and endurance, while burning off cheese platters and late night kebabs.

Boxing

A face paced work out with professional boxer and professional good guy Michael ‘Slenderman’ Cordner. Nobody is getting left behind or popped in the corner with a bag and no idea… we will take you from beginner to professional (if thats where you want to go), or from not-so-fit to fitter, with every person on the mat getting the benefit of the sweet, and the sweet science. No box-fit in sight - this is the real deal - but appropriate for every level!
